Posted

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Lincoln High School is excited to welcome the University of Wisconsin–Madison Marching Band to South Wood County Stadium on Friday, Sept. 25 for a special evening of music, school spirit and high school football.
The UW Marching Band will take the field for its traditional run-on at 7:10 p.m., prior to the Lincoln Red Raiders taking on Eau Claire Memorial at 7:30 p.m. The band will also perform at halftime and during the popular 5th Quarter and 6th Quarter following the game.
Lincoln High School is incredibly excited to bring an experience like this to its students, families and the Wisconsin Rapids community. There is something special about Friday nights at South Wood County Stadium, and having the UW Marching Band join will make this an evening Lincoln students and the community will remember for a long time.
The evening will feature two football games, beginning with Assumption Catholic Schools taking on Gilman at 4 p.m., followed by Lincoln High School versus Eau Claire Memorial at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $5, and all regular entry passes will be accepted.
LHS encourages students, families, alumni and community members to come out for an exciting night at South Wood County Stadium and a unique opportunity to experience one of Wisconsin’s most recognizable collegiate traditions right here in Wisconsin Rapids.
