At Multi Media Channels (MMC), we are committed to fairness, accuracy, and impartiality. As a publisher of community newspapers and websites, we inform the public by covering events and issues we judge newsworthy and relevant. Coverage is based on journalistic merit – not endorsement of any cause or viewpoint. We do not take sides or promote agendas. Our mission is to provide clear, factual reporting that helps readers stay informed and form their own opinions.
Multi Media Channels welcomes letters on local issues of community interest. National topics may be referenced only if locally relevant. Letters must include the writer’s name, address, phone, and email and will be published with the name and city or town; anonymous or mailed letters will not be accepted or returned. Limit: 250 words. Libelous, discriminatory, inflammatory, or threatening content will not be published. Each writer may submit two free letters per year. Political endorsement letters cost $100 and must be prepaid. None will be published within one week of an election.
One final note: The First Amendment protects freedom of speech from government interference. It does not place an obligation on private companies like media organizations and online platforms to support speech. Media organizations can moderate and limit speech without violating the First Amendment, as its protections restrict only government actions, not private entities.
