Nekoosa High School Defeats Crandon in 38-8 Blowout

NEKOOSA – Nekoosa High School played Crandon on Aug. 21, taking the game in a decisive 38-8 victory. Crandon had three turnovers compared to Nekoosa’s one, with two fumbles lost and one interception.
Nekoosa opened the scoring in the first quarter with a 25-yard run for a touchdown by Dell Krcmar, followed by a run for a two-point conversion by Owen Hoogesteger, starting the game 8-0. Crandon’s Nolan Bradley evened the score with a 63-yard run for a touchdown and a successful two-point conversion, but Nekoosa recaptured the lead and the momentum before the first quarter ended with a 39-yard pass from Finlei Krcmar to Caleb Burch for a touchdown, followed by a run by Finlei for another two-point conversion, ending the quarter 16-8.
Nekoosa quickly built on their lead in the second quarter with two touchdowns from Finlei and Dell Krcmar, taking the game to halftime at 30-8.
The game went scoreless in the third quarter, but Finlei Krcmar took another touchdown in the fourth, with a pass from Finlei to Brandon Visgar securing the two-point conversion and ending the game 38-8, Nekoosa.
