WOOD COUNTY – The following crime report spans from March 30 to April 2.
March 30
10:24 a.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a computer crime at 11023 Main St., Hewitt. A report was made.
1:08 p.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a prowler at 7920 Townline Rd., Saratoga. Suspect was gone on arrival.
1:12 p.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a theft at 8810 STH 13 S, Saratoga. The theft was determined to be unintentional and no report was made.
1:35 p.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting trespassing at 9566 CTH T, Richfield. Someone attempted to break in and damaged the front door. A report was made.
3:32 p.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a traffic complaint reporting reckless driving near CTH G and STH 173, Port Edwards. A report was made.
4:13 p.m. – The Wood Sheriff’s Office attempted a warrant pick-up for wanted offender Joshua Reinwand, last placed at 5644 Reddin Rd., Rudolph. No contact was made.
4:41 p.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting an abandoned boat dumped in the woods near Adams Ave. and 10th Ave., Rome. A record of the incident was made.
5:31 p.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a vehicle swerving into oncoming traffic near STH 66 and 3rd Ave., Rudolph. Assistance was rendered.
5:36 p.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to an animal complaint reporting the caller’s dog was attacked by another dog living at 9882 W Ives St., Lincoln. A record of the incident was made.
6:27 p.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a female runaway walking towards the highway near 3717 STH 54 W, Port Edwards. A record of the incident was made.
8:15 p.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a large fire in a field across from 8087 Arpin Sherry Rd., Arpin. A record of the incident was made.
8:25 p.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a deer struck by a vehicle near Day Rd. and STH 10, Auburndale. No report was made.
March 31
7:46 a.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting criminal damage at the Wood County Jail. A citation was issued.
8:28 a.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a deer struck by a vehicle near the intersection of George Rd. and Seneca Rd., Seneca. A record of the incident was made.
8:47 a.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting telephone abuse at 1321 Church Ave., Saratoga. A record of the incident was made.
10:18 a.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to an animal complaint reporting the caller’s dog was attacked on a walk by a loose German shepherd. No report was made.
11:19 a.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a disturbance at the Wood County Jail. A record of the incident was made.
6:33 p.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from another agency requesting assistance regarding a triggered residential alarm at 5130 Timberland TRL., Grand Rapids. Assistance was rendered.
April 1
12:57 p.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a disturbance at the Wood County Jail. An investigation is ongoing.
4:07 p.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a suspect with a gun near the intersection of STH 186 and CTH C, Vesper. A bus driver stated a male was walking down the road carrying what appeared to be a handgun, which he pointed at the bus, then mimed shooting. An investigation is ongoing.
4:36 p.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a disturbance at Ho Chunk Gaming Casino. The caller reported a road rager who followed them into the casino parking lot, where they struck the caller’s vehicle with their own vehicle, then their fists. An investigation is ongoing.
6:04 p.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a disturbance at 4730 STH 73 S, Saratoga. A report was made.
8:03 p.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a deer struck by a vehicle near the intersection of 80th St. S and Evergreen Ave., Saratoga. A report was made.
9:08 p.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a prowler on Hollywood Rd., Saratoga. Assistance was rendered.
April 2
1:59 a.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a triggered burglar alarm at Pittsville Elementary School. No report was made.
4:42 a.m. – The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a power line and tree on fire on the south side of the road at 10970 CTH N, Rock. No report was made.
