NEKOOSA – The StrongBodies Program is coming back to Nekoosa. Join the StrongBodies program this fall at the Nekoosa Area Community Center starting Oct. 7. The class focuses on low-impact exercises for adults of any age to help increase muscle mass, strength, bone density, balance and agility. The class can also help reduce the risk for osteoporosis, diabetes, heart disease and arthritis, and improve one’s self-confidence, social connectedness and overall well-being.
This 11-week series begins on Tuesday, Oct. 7 from 9-10:15 a.m. at the Nekoosa Area Community Center. The class meets every Tuesday and Thursday from Oct. 7 through Dec. 18. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. There is a suggested donation of $25/series. StrongBodies is offered by Extension Wood County in collaboration with the Nekoosa Area Community Center. To register for the class, call 715-421-8437 or follow this link: www.bit.ly/NekoosaSB25.
