‘Rockin’ the Shelter’ Fundraiser to benefit South Wood County Humane Society

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The South Wood County Humane Society (SWCHS) will receive the proceeds from the upcoming “Rockin’ the Shelter” Fundraiser and Supply Drive, set for Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at South Wood County Park’s Red Sands Beach.
The nonprofit event aims to raise critical funds and gather necessary supplies to support the shelter’s ongoing operational needs. Attendees will have access to a variety of family-oriented activities and entertainment, including raffle baskets, a bake sale, live music, face and rock painting, children’s games and a special guest appearance by Clifford the Big Red Dog. Refreshments will be available onsite for purchase from the Chat-r-box food truck.
Community members interested in reviewing the shelter’s current supply needs prior to the event are encouraged to follow the official Rockin’ the Shelter or SWCHS Facebook pages for updates.
