NEKOOSA – On Sept. 12, Nekoosa High School played Wautoma High School and maintained an increasing lead throughout the first and second quarter. However, WHS answered with two touchdowns in the third, bringing the score to 20-21. Wautoma scored two more touchdowns in the third, bringing their score to 34, and despite a late touchdown from NHS, the game ended 28-34. NHS covered 316 yards compared to Wautoma’s 275, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win.
