WRCT has new full-time corporate director

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – The Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre (WRCT) announced that Bett Potazek has filled the new position of full-time corporate director.
Bett was the artistic supervisor for Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theatre in Atlanta, GA, since 1997. Prior professional credits include the Alliance Theatre, the Center for Puppetry Arts, and Arts For All GA. Prior theatre management experience includes the Phoenix Theatre in Vermont, Northern Sign Theatre in Minneapolis, and the Madison Theatre Guild. She was a co-chair of the Georgia Theatre Conference’s Professional Division.
Bett has taught theatre for all ages, including at the University of Vermont and University of Louisville. A Wisconsin native, she graduated with a BA in theatre from Viterbo University in La Crosse, and earned her MFA from the University of Louisville in Kentucky.
Bett’s responsibilities will include overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic plan of the organization as well as fundraising, marketing, and community outreach.
