Vickroy to be inducted into WADA Hall of Fame

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Retired Lincoln High School (LHS) Athletic Director Bill Vickroy has been selected for induction into the Wisconsin Athletic Directors Association (WADA) Hall of Fame.
The award was created by the WAD Board of Directors in 2013 to recognize retired athletic directors for their careers at the local, state, and national level. The honor is the highest recognition WADA awards to Wisconsin athletic directors.
Vickroy served as the LHS athletic director for 21 years, before retiring in 2016.
In 2007, Vickroy received the WADA Past President’s Award. In 2008, he earned the WADA LeRoy “Andy” Anderson Award. In 2010, he received both the WADA President’s Award and the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association State Award of Merit.
Vickroy will be inducted at the WADA Annual Conference this November.
