WISCONSIN RAPIDS – United Way of Inner Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Rapids McDonald’s restaurant will be celebrating 45 years of making a difference in the community.
“This is truly a special year in that we are celebrating two anniversaries,” said Tari Jahns, CEO. “2017 will be our 45th United Way Day at McDonalds; and it is also our 75th Anniversary. McDonald’s Day has been a very important part of our long-standing legacy in the community. Since 1973 this event has raised over $360,000 for United Way. We appreciate McDonald’s continued support and passion for the community.”
United Way Day at McDonald’s will be held September 12, 2017 from 7AM – 7PM at the Wisconsin Rapids McDonald’s restaurant, 2128 Eighth St. South. There will be a live remote with WFHR from 6AM to 9AM.
Businesses and organizations who plan to place large orders are encouraged to call in a pre-order by September 11, 2017. Those who pre-order will be assigned a pick-up time when their orders will be ready. Call McDonald’s at 715-421-1680.
