St. Paul’s to install new pastor

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is welcoming Lucas A. Proeber as their new pastor.
Reverend Proeber received his assignment to the Wisconsin Rapids church on May 24, from the Wisconsin Lutheran Evangelical Synod.
Proeber’s parents are Lutheran school teachers. He was educated at Lutheran schools in Saginaw, MI, graduating from Martin Luther College, New Ulm, MN.
He served a year as vicar at Holy Word Lutheran Church, Austin, TX, and graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Mequon on May 25.
Proeber’s wife, Amy, is from Racine.
The ordination and installation will take place July 15 at 4 p.m. at St. Paul’s, followed by a fellowship meal.
Reverend Dennis Valleau will conduct the liturgy and ordination and Reverend Bill Brassow will preach the sermon.
