Snow Emergency Declared for Wis. Rapids

A snow emergency has been declared for Wisconsin Rapids.
A winter weather advisory was issued yesterday by the National Weather Service, indicating snow accumulation up to six inches for today. According to the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department, effective at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, the city will be under snow emergency.
This will run until 8:00 a.m. Wednesday morning for snow removal. No parking will be allowed on city streets during this time. Vehicles parked on city streets run the risk of being ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
