October 10
Parking lot accident leads to arrest
At 9:22 p.m., an employee of a Wisconsin Rapids gas station called to report an accident that occurred in the parking lot between a 21-year-old man and an 81-year-old man. The accident led to a verbal and physical fight and ended with one of the men being arrested.
October 12
Garage and vehicle broken into
At 8:24 a.m., a 40-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man called to report that overnight someone had broken into his truck that was parked inside his garage. Nothing was taken however, it was noticed that the back window was broken and a backpack was left behind. Police contacted the owner of the backpack’s mother.

Bringing Texas roadhouse to Wisconsin
At 12:10 a.m., a caller reported a fight between multiple people outside a club in Wisconsin Rapids. It was reported that a beer was thrown at one woman and then they took off in their vehicle with Texas plates. The owner wanted police to let the driver know that they were not welcome back.
Fake money not working
At 7:19 a.m., an employee of a gas station called to report a man who was trying to use a fake $100 bill. This is the fourth time in three days this same 48-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man has tried to use fake money at different establishments throughout the city. Police spoke with the man and told him he was not welcome back to that gas station.
Urinating man disappears
At 1:14 p.m., police received a call stating a short man in a black coat had stopped and urinated in front of a couple of kids selling lemonade. The caller was uncertain where the man went when he left the area. Police were unable to locate any kids having a lemonade stand to speak to them.
Dude, where’s my wife?
At 5 p.m., 68-year-old man called police stating he couldn’t find his wife. A bartender found the man wandering in the street extremely intoxicated.
