Poll: Favorite Summer Activity/Event?
City Times Staff
WISCONSIN RAPIDS — After months of tallying, the votes are in — gathering nearly 38 percent of the votes, the First Ward School House is the favorite Wisconsin Rapids landmark among residents, with Lake Wazeecha following in a close second with 25 percent.
First Ward School, also known as Irving St. School was built in 1896 and taught kindergarten through sixth grade. City Times staff stepped into the historically haunted house in October of 2016, which you can check out here.
As we have six to 11 inches of snowfall coming tomorrow, let’s turn our attention to brighter avenues, as we ask which summer activity you are most looking forward to this year.
